After studying law in Paris and spending one year at an American university, Nicolas decided to specialise in employment law and obtained his Master’s in 1996. In 1997, he joined Jacques Barthélémy et associés, where he refined his skills as an employment lawyer. He obtained his employment law specialisation certificate from the Paris Bar in 2003. In 2004, Nicolas joined ærige (formerly brl avocats) as a partner shortly after it was founded, and has been a driving force behind the firm’s growth ever since. Since 2017, Nicolas has been the firm’s Managing Partner. He advises French and international clients in a variety of sectors, ranging from healthcare and agri-food to communications and insurance. Nicolas is a keen amateur jazz pianist and practises every morning before starting his working day.
